Guidebook Launch: National Biodiversity Platforms to Support the Interface of Science, Policy and Practice for Nature and People (4 & 10 May 2023)

Please note, we had two sessions of the same webinar to accommodate different time zones: Latin American countries (on the 4th of May) and African and Asian countries (on the 10th of May). Content for the two webinars is identical, except for the panel session consisting of panelists from the targeted time zones.
Webinar objectives:
- The NEA Initiative and the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research–UFZ present their Guidebook on National Biodiversity Platforms and discuss the importance of such platforms in contributing to the conservation of biodiversity and ecosystem services.
- Countries are also given the opportunity to reflect on their experiences in implementing national biodiversity platforms and discuss how such platforms can be strengthened in the future.
