Juanita leads the NEA Initiative at UNEP-WCMC.

Claire provides strategic oversight to the NEA Initiative from a technical and policy angle.

Boipelo is the Focal Point for the Botswana team. She provides both technical and administrative support to the county in undertaking a full national ecosystem assessment.

Carla is the Focal Point for the Dominican Republic team and for the Grenada team. She is also the Focal Point on Indigenous and Local Knowledge (ILK).

As the country Focal Point for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ceire provides one-to-one support to the assessment team in Bosnia Herzegovina. She is also the Gender Focal Point for the NEA Initiative. This involves supporting the implementation of the BES-Net Gender Strategy and mainstreaming gender across the NEA Initiative’s portfolio of work.

Charlotte liaises and offers technical support to the NEA Initiative’s country partners and teams in the Asia Pacific region, and provides expertise on key national ecosystem assessment issues and elements, such as climate change, and nature’s contributions to health and wellbeing.

Justine is the Focal Point for National Biodiversity Platforms.

Mel assists with the preparation and coordination of the NEA Initiative’s events, both virtual and in-person including webinars, meetings, and workshops. This includes managing travel, venue, and technical logistics and providing support to the NEA team to ensure the success of events.

Milly supports the administrative and financial management of the NEA Initiative. Her main tasks involve supporting the financial management of the project portfolio, including budget planning, reporting, proposal development, acting as Administrative and Finance Focal Point for country partners.

Noor coordinates the National Ecosystem Assessment Initiative’s capacity support workstream, working closely with country partners, experts and practitioners to support their implementation of ecosystem assessments and promote their use in national decision-making and policy processes. Noor is also the Focal Point for the Malawi team at the NEA Initiative.

Pratik is the Communications Focal Point for the NEA Initiative. His role involves the writing of content promoting the work and achievements of country and consortium partners, as well as managing the Initiative’s webiste.
